Four large cities punctuate the island with Lefkosia the capital combining both old and new. It’s old Town is picturesque and historic but also boasts modern shops and buildings, making it a real cosmopolitan city. Lemosos the second largest City is known for its wine industry, busy night life, restaurants and some of the biggest Hotels on the island. Larnaka is where the main international airport is situated. It is home to the marina and the famous Phinikoudes Beach which is lined with Palm trees in its promenade. Pafos to the west has some archeological treasure troves and also some of the finest mosaics in the Mediterranean. All four cities are unique in themselves making a trip to Cyprus exciting and adventurous.
